Busy week...

... in the garden, despite having a lot of rain.

On Sunday, the garden volunteers edged with waste wood a raised bed, did lots of weeding, planted some 'tall snowdropy things' (thanks Sue) and some different hardy geraniums and a few extra irises.

On Monday we received some bespoke arm rests for some of the benches (thanks Mac!). They should make getting off benches a bit easier for some people with creaky knees.

On Tuesday, the gardening for health group came up with lots of good ideas for things they'd like to do over the next few weeks, including projects in the garden. They planted some donated strawberries (thanks Freecycle person!), started the Wormery up (including stamping hard for some worms to put in it), sorted and cleaned lots of tools, and did some more edging.

On Weds, we were ploughed and edged ready for next Tuesday's sowing.

On Friday we met with the 'water experts', and now have a plan for what we need to provide safe, reliable mains water for drinking/washing and also accessible gardening. Enormous relief.
