Poo in the garden

Re-designed and re-made Bugopolis - solitary bees were flying into the holes as we constructed it

We have been so busy recently, we haven't had time to update this blog. We have lots more photos to cut up and stick down... they will follow.

The garden has been full of people of all ages  - from small babies to people in their 90s.

They have been on their own, in couples, in small groups - in large groups.

Sitting silently, reading, chatting, laughing, running around, making stick sculptures, doing gymnastics, yoga, gardening, drinking tea, eating snacks, collecting seeds, dead-heading flowers, chalking on the tarmac, catching crickets, playing hopscotch... and these are just the activities we have seen and remembered.

Yesterday, and then today, we found some poo in the garden - not from dog visitors - but from a hedgehog and then, today, from a small deer - a muntjac has been spotted at least once.

Now we wonder what they were doing in the garden... we like to think they were doing gymnastics, at least...
