Very pleased to say that our wonderful contractors Gaskin Brothers have finished most of the work in the garden.

In just the past week, we have new gates, a new noticeboard, a new path, a water supply (although turned off until the risk of frozen pipes has past).


The mound after we had done lots of barrowing... very popular with park dogs - smelly and steaming!

We also had a delivery of soil conditioner so, with a lot of heroic barrowing, we have a bed ready for sowing perennial meadow seeds and also have been filling our new raised beds.


We even planted up a herb garden in one of the raised beds - but I forgot to take photos.


Broad beans - started off in modules and transplanted. We will add some more in February.

And we have made a new bed next to the picnic table (not fixed down) with some honesty plants.

We still have lots of jobs to do in the garden - just as well that we have such loyal volunteers twice a week!
