We are slowly collecting scented-leaved plants for our polytunnel - thinking it would be nice to sit and stroke a leaf when it is a bit dank or scary outside.

I have made a little poster to put up too.

We have, and will take more, cuttings from these plants.

And probably move some of them from the beds outside. Our first frosts are usually in the first week of November. If we move them indoors, we will get a bit more fun from them for longer.

There are lots of guides to how to propagate plants on the web. The RHS School gardening ones are very good and we used them at Queen Edith’s school.

If we were allowed (and it was safe), we would have had ‘learn together’ sessions on doing it in the polytunnel. But that is for another time.
