Trees made of trees

One of our current garden projects is to decorate the garden for Winter - and think up some ways for people to get more involved in what we do.

It was tree charter day so we thought we’d get our trees up. The two new real trees we will plant are still in the post - maybe next weekend. We have dug some holes for them.

3D tree for outdoor decorations and bird feeders. Made from some thin wooden stakes, a donated tree stake, a scrap piece of wood (the star) and then end of a wooden cable reel. Paint from CCORN (end of a tin) - although we did buy the red paint (BEDEC cossack red, satin) and outdoor blackboard paint from Wilko. Have added some twine loops so the hangings can be attached. This can be a windy spot.

The other one. They are on either side of a new polytunnel being mainly used by people at the moment. We need covered ‘safer’ space more than over-wintering plants… it will be decorated soon…
